Astonishng...the momentum of DA VINCI CODE."-BN Nat'l Review...

The National Center on Family Literacy is an amazing organization that seeks to improve the possibilities for success for children and parents, particularly those living in poverty. Founded in 1989, NCFL has taken the leadership role in solving our nation's serious literacy problem. I am deeply moved to be given the opportunity to be the closing session keynote speaker at this year's National Conference at Disney World, Orlando. Some 1500 educators and volunteers from across the nation will be there to learn, share stories and celebrate the work they do in bringing about social change through literacy and educational reforms. After my address I'll be signing my novels and introducing my new one coming in June. Most of all, I'll be sharing with these incredible people how very much their connecting young and old to books and reading makes a difference in our world.

My thanks to the incredibly energetic and talented President,  Sharon Darling, and to my astounding new friend, Emily Kirkpatrick, VP of the organization.
